What this covers
This policy explains how ATMALAYAR Creative ("we", "us") handles personal data through our booking process and through SEKETIKA, our digital disposable camera used at events. It applies to couples who book us, and to guests who use the guest camera at an event.
What we collect
From couples booking us: your name, contact number, event date, event type, and venue, submitted when you enquire via WhatsApp or our contact form.
From guests using SEKETIKA at an event: the photos you take, an optional name you can enter (never required), any written wish or caption you add to a photo, and a random technical identifier stored in your browser so the app can recognise your device during the event — this is not linked to your real identity unless you choose to enter your name.
How it's used
Booking details are used solely to plan and deliver your event. Guest photos and wishes are used to build the couple's digital gallery and, where the host has enabled it, a live wall display at the event. The host (the couple, or us on their behalf) can review and moderate photos before they're shown to other guests, and can restrict who sees the gallery and for how long.
Where it's stored
Photos and event data are stored with Supabase, a cloud infrastructure provider, and protected by access rules so only the event's host and authorised guests can reach them. We don't sell personal data, and we don't use it for advertising or tracking.
How long we keep it
A gallery stays live for as long as the host sets it to (couples can also set an expiry date themselves). After an event, we keep a backup archive of the full roll as part of our records, in the same way a photography studio keeps past client work — if you'd like your event's data fully removed instead, contact us and we'll action it.
Your rights
Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Guests can ask their host to remove a specific photo at any time — hosts already have this built into their dashboard.
